PC Games: A Result of Technological Evolution

Innovative PC games are all time favourites for the gamers. They are source of full time entertainment. Personal Computer which was used for researching and creating files are now turned to exciting gaming platform.  Several companies are presenting fascinating PC games which are easily transferred to gaming consoles. Personal Computer games are indispensable way of enjoying games of all kinds. Supposed to be an excellent platform for playing games, PC allows accessing them anytime without hassle. Available in all popular genres like racing, action, strategy, puzzle, Role Playing, PC games overcome stress and monotony.
 
Playing games on personal computer is really absorbing and children simply love to have fun on PC. With large screen and memory space, PC game gives the effect of watching video game in huge hall. PC game is more advantageous as it removes the worries of power failure. Different from video games, they are not available in CDs or DVDs. However, PC requires specialized hardware to play games.  First PC game called Spacewar was released in 1961. This game revolves around two player-controlled spaceships.
 
Earlier, PC games had only text adventures and interactive fiction but in the mid of eighties, games came up with graphics support. Now with the technological advancements, new PC games are promising ultimate experience. After the boom in the gaming market, PC witnessed accelerated 3D graphics and result was the best PC game, Tomb Raider. Later, with the improved CPU technology, several kids PC games gained immense popularity. Mass Effect and Puzzle Quest Galactrix are some of the top PC games.
