One of the most frustrating things that can happen to the user of an MP3 player or IPod is having to replace an expensive piece of equipment all because the headphone cable has snapped off inside the player, rendering the player useless. Thankfully Replug has come out with a range of adaptors and cables that stop this problem in its tracks.
The Replug range does not prevent the cable from breaking; in fact it allows this to happen naturally but it does prevent damage being caused to the player itself. The Replug cables and adaptors connect to your current player and headphones. If the cable is stretched beyond its reach it will break at the point of adaption. This stops the cable from snapping inside the player and means that the only thing the consumer needs to replace is the cable itself.
Replug does not magnetise its products, so users can be assured they will stay connected to the player even while exercising. Instead the jack for the Replug product clicks into place inside the plastic adaptor and joins to the player via spring-loaded connectors. On the other end is the all important female jack for connecting headphones.
It may not be considered a necessary accessory but as IPods and Mp3 players become an essential item some users may find that products like Replug save them frustration and money in the long run.
